It was peaceful in Dreamland, it had been since the dark matter disappeared over 3 years ago. An apple suspended from his hand by it’s stem. As it dangled, the sun shone it’s rays upon the apple, making it shine quite greatly in the light. Kirby, about to eat the apple, was dazed for the day. He had no duties, no chores, not anything to do, so, he did what he liked best. He ate. Down the apple went into him. Just after a moment, it was gone into the dark depths of his insides, not to be seen again. Despite what apple lovers out there might feel, he was quite satisfied. Kirby had his own little tree with a slight area of shade to sit under, he had just eaten a snack. This was paradise!

Hours went on with no sight of disturbance in his day, but suddenly clouds of a grayish color formed over the sun. Any person in their right mind would predict thunder or lightning, rain at the least. But this was no rain, Kirby knew that. This was a cloud he had seen before, and just as he had predicted, clouds shrouded the sky with darkness.
